Short version:

Born London, married to Sue, daughter Kirstin (b. ’97), son James (b. ’00), currently living in Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland.
A very mixed church background – christened Catholic(!), first church a pentecostal in Acton, then onto St. Andrew’s, Chorleywood, some Church of Scotland and finally to the Almond Vineyard in Edinburgh.
Musically, was originally piano/keys, but have done as much work on bass and programming. Currently writing with Steinberg Cubase SE3 on a PC. Steinberg V-Stack with some VST plugins (The Grand 2, GMedia VSM and MiniMonsta, Lounge Lizard Session) on a laptop with a Novation ReMOTE SL 61 for live keys. Ibanez SR-886 bass thru my trusty (and rusty) Peavey 2×10 cab and head (plus the ever-present Boss sustain pedal to make me sound exactly like Tony Levin. Ha.)
P.S. The picture at the top of the page is Traprain Law, a rather striking hill a couple of miles from where we live.
